Hey, I’m Colleen. I wear many faces, though my favorite is mother. Máthair. [Gaelic; pronounced maw:her].

I’ve humbly brought three humans earth side, all in their own unique way. From scheduled cesarean as a first time mama with a breech baby, to two breech VBAC safely at home.

Birth transformed me. It gifted me new versions of myself with each challenge I faced while preparing me to become the woman I am today.

The woman that can’t wait to support you - to see you - on your journey to your new self. To walk with you as you lead the way on your birth path, whether at home or in the hospital. I passionately believe a Mother is at her best when she feels safe, supported and autonomous.

I offer a holistic approach to pregnancy and birth, providing emotional and physical support as well as close communication surrounding your due time.

One personalized prenatal visit, or more if desired, providing birth plan preparation, evidence-based information and immediate postpartum support.

One postpartum visit to provide any additional resources.

Placenta Services

I offer TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) placenta encapsulation. This method is believed to restore warmth to the healing postpartum body, aid in the balance of hormones, establish an early and healthy milk supply, while preventing the risk of postpartum depression and other mood disorders. I can also prepare your placenta in a healing salve, tallow or tincture.
